This is why we decided on the sharedPOIs folder. Users would copy files into each map folder this took up valuable disk space.
The answer to synchronizing to your SD card question is yes. On 7/5/2012 7:25 AM, Marco Migotti wrote:
This method sounds awesome! Before I had to copy poi's into all the map folders that I was using most often but now all I have to do is add it once to the shared folders. Wow, I am so excited. I need to check out this sendero map program and load it onto my laptop. Can I sink stuff using a card reader for my sd card? Anything that is not zipped in the map zip files goes into the sharedPOIs folder. For example, if you download New York and unzip it, that gets unzipped into the maps folder. If you download the usa-user.zip (user submitted POIs) this goes into the sharedPOIs folder. SenderoMaps 2012 does all this for you. Your user.pdb and favorites files will also be moved from the maps folder into the sharedPOIs folder as well.
