[gps-talkusers] Re: Seminars

Hello Everyone,

I really hope that I don't sound obnoxious in any way with my next suggestion. I am not wanting to step on anyone's toes. So here it is.

Since there is no school or organization teaching "the Braille note GPS" maybe we the listers should pick some people in different cities that know the system well and put on our own training seminars. We as individuals probably can't transport feed and house interested clients, but we could organize some kind of course materials, set up roots and challenges and organize scheduling. I think of Mike's Way Fun outings as an example. After we do a few we could probably organize our notes and put together a package that could be sent to people who couldn't take part. Gerry

Mike,

If you come to Boston, we will spare no expense at wining and dining
you. I'm sure we would benefit from your expertise. We're working with
the Carroll Center for the Blind to develop a GPS course for mobility
instructors and for blind consumers.

Joe,

I am way overdue for a Boston trip and will make a point of taking you
up on your offer.

Thanks,

Mike
