It's called Chanuka Gelt with a hard "G"! WE do use pennies when we play Draidel but we also use M&M's or candy lentles.

That's an interesting variation. My Jewish friends celebrated with gifts, I'd never heard of the money thing other than as it related to dradles. Should I be so lucky, I have everything from an XBox 360 to a new car on the wish lists I received.:)

I guess that I am not into these things. We celebrate Chanuka and traditionally give money to the children and not gifts. My father used to give 1 penny the first day, two pennies the second day and so on .... 
Or maybe that was my grandfather!

Black Friday is the friday after Thanksgiving when everyone it seems goes Christmas shopping at the same time. This is also the day when if you plot my net worth on a chart it usually drops oh 25%:). I'm not venturing out in to that mess with or with out a GPS though. It's online shopping for me, need to support my industry a little.
