Well the bottom of the case is padded with a foam rubber type of insulation but the top is not padded and it takes a little while for the leather to stretch when you first get the pk into the case but once the leather warms up, there is no problem with it. If you have ever seen the leather Braille Note or Voice Note cases, that is what the case is made out of.Hope this helps.
