[gps-talkusers] Question About Delorme

As some of you might know, I tested some GPS data for the Appalachian Trail. Most data were good enough to use.
Some non-critical data were off by up to five hundred yards. These data were coordinates for road crossings, locations of stores, and side trail intersections.
I would like to improve on that if possible. These data came from a program Map Tec sold. Five hundred yards is an unusually large error factor in my experience with GPS.
I believe Mike May said that Delorme had products covering the Appalachian Trail. I contacted Delorme and was informed that they had no such products. Does anybody have a contact at Delorme I could talk to?
