Hmmm,  I wonder if my N82 is defective.  When I plugged in a standard 
eighth-inch cord from the phone to an external speaker, audio kept playing from 
the phone.  It didn't switch to the external speaker.

I  also think the KNFB Reader Mobile is an excellent product with a lot of
potential. I use it daily for a variety  of tasks ranging from reading my
mail, to class handouts, to recipes I want to try. In terms of the GPS
solution, I'm currently trying out Wayfinder Access and I like the concept,
but not necessarily the implementation. Fortunately, it does have its uses
as it did get me to my location successfully this morning at 2:00 AM when I
needed to send out a package via FedEx. In order to get around the low audio
issue, I'm currently using my N82 with a small speaker I purchased from
Sendero. This speaker just plugs in to the headset jack and functions rather
well from inside my jacket pocket. Unfortunately it is not Bluetooth,
however, it gets the job done rather nicely, giving you crisp audio response
from your phone. Needless to say, I managed to find the FedEx Kinko's with
little to no trouble at 2:00 Am, while traveling the traffic filled streets
of Chicago. I also want to say that I'd never traveled the root by foot
until this morning, which is a plus for Wayfinder Access.
