I was pretty sure of PR but the others?  I knew many countries by their 
amateur radio designation but these got me good.

Sure thing Paul, I knew PR and GU but the rest I wasn't sure of until
I Googled it here are the definitions of those 2 letter state abbreviations.

FM (Federated States of Micronesia)
GU (Guam)
MH (Marshal Islands)
PR (Puerto Rico)
PW (Palau)
UM (U.S. Minor Outlying Islands)


Here are some others as well
AS (American Samoa)
MP (Northern Mariana Islands)
VI (U.S. Virgin Islands)
