That's pretty hot. I'm also interested in some of the nurve induction stuff. In the end it would be nice to just have the audio beamed directly in to the brain and end run intirely around the ears. There's also interesting research going on in the UK concerning the general purpose nature of nurve signals and applying say visual and or audio signals to an arm nurve and having perception. The 21st century is such a cool place!

We brought a pair of these Outis back from CSUN.  At first we weren't too
sure about them, but I think we didn't have the little "earring" part
clipped on correctly.  Now Bob is thinking they're way cool.  He says they
don't block traffic noise at all, and that he can even still use echo
location. They do have to be charged, though. They can charge either with
the wall charger or via USB.

We are trying a new set of headphones called the Zelco Outi. They
clip to your ear with the active earbud component between your ear
and head. Nothing blocks your ear in this way. They list for $99 and
we are probably going to start offering them.
