[gps-talkusers] Re: Out dated pois

This is a feature that we could possibly add. I will add this to our bug /
feature request tracking system.

The reason why we couldn't easily put this feature in to begin with is that
these files are binary, and are very difficult to adjust because every POI
is a binary offset in the file, and just changing the file would require
adjusting all the internal offsets which is difficult and would be time
consuming.

It is doable and I have a few ideas already on how to accomplish this, but
then there is the other problem of adding new POI's to the commercial ones
or deleting them altogether both of which are both more difficult to
accomplish.

So in short we will put it as a feature request and it will be prioritized
based on user demand and engineering time required, along with all the
other bugs/features already in the database for the next release.

Keep these suggestions coming!

Thanks
Charles.
