Hi Christopher
Sounds like a great idea. Remember when creating a manual route just
make sure if you want to put in turns that you save the waypoint as a
turn before you make the turn. Also make sure your heading is
correct before you mark the waypoint. If you know you are heading
North make sure the system says North before you mark a turning point
or else later when you follow it again the system could give you
incorrect turning information.
If your heading is wrong, what I would do is back up 30 feet or so
turn around and try again until the heading is correct. Remember to
walk a little fast around 2MPH to get a reliable heading.
Have fun with this and let us know how it turns out.
Charles.

I'm about to try an application that I've not heard mentioned. I
play disc golf, and I intend to set up a route through a course with
way points at the teas and the baskets, then use the destination
command to give me heading and distance information from my various
disc positions. Has anyone else tried this and does anyone have any
suggestions to build on my idea to make it more effective?
