[gps-talkusers] Re: Obtaining Lat/Lon Information via the Internet

Hi Sharonda,

A site that I like using when obtaining lat/lon information is:

http://www.loadstone-gps.com/docs/tools/geocoder/index.php

It is a Tool created by Loadstone and the data is used from Google
Earth/Maps.

There are a variety of fields that are available.

Note: It isn't required to enter an Email Address.

The lat/lons are given in Decimal Degrees. For example, 32.123456
-121.123456. Sendero GPS will accept lat/lons in Decimal Degrees and if
there is not a minus sign before the string, type in N for the first string
and East for the second string and S and W respectively. So, the above would
be N and W.
