I forgot to say, if I don't write back within 6 hours, send the posse to find
me. No worries as they say here,
I recorded 23 points of interest in Christchurch and met several locals in the
process. Found a great Italian place called Portafino's.
Turns out that the international wheelchair rugby championships were in
Christchurch and all 11 teams are staying in the same hotel as me. I have never
seen so many wheelies in one place at the same time. It was downright hazardous
caning my way across the hotel lobby. The U.S. won the competition and New
Zealand came in second. Remember that they tackle each other in rugby.
Apparently, these guys are crazy and knock each other over in the same fashion
to score a tackle. You can see why I would stay out of their way.
