anymore, do
they?

The thing about a thumb drive that concerns me is that it wouldbe stickingout of the BrailleNote and could get bumped.

I suppose I could get a 16 gb card instead of a 32; but I wasthinking Iwanted to make sure and have room for poi files too, and I know alot ofpeople have used 32 gig cards successfully. I just wonder ifthere'ssomething I need to double check on in the descriptions of cards.

Peggy,
It's possible that you just got a defective card. It rarelyhappens, butit's still a possibility. Would it be possible to fit all themaps youwant on a 16GB card? I don't know if there's a size limit oncards theM-Power can handle. You might also consider keeping your mapson a flashdrive.

Hi, all. Well, I'm sending my card back to Newegg for a refund.I'vehad good luck with them in the past, and I still don't know whatwaswrong this time. Someone suggested that perhaps my card readercan'tread high capacity cards, and that I should get a new cardreader. Butwe tried it on two separate readers, with the same results. Ifanyonediscovers a specific card model that works with the BrailleNoteforstoring GPS maps, I'd love it if you could either post the linkto thecard, or e-mail me privately. I really want to get all the mapsfor this
version loaded.
Peggy <still wondering why this card wouldn't work, and whetherI ordered
the wrong thing, and how I can get the right thing http://kernsac.livejournal.com/
