Charles, I don't know if this would be feasible but... Would it be possible to design some software that would be able to import maps to any GPS device no matter which product the maps were originally designed?Looking at your list of supported countries I noticed that there weren't any maps for large countries like India, South Africa, China or Turkey, I'm presuming this is because the maps Sendero use aren't available for those places. But, does that mean that there aren't any maps made by anyone for those places? So I'm wondering if it would be possible to write software that would enable Sindero to import particular maps from different companies for specific users.Of course the benefit of this would be that what Sindero could do everybody else could do as well. I'm thinking of the Trekker here as thats the product I use.Maybe the expense of purchasing a licence to reproduce 1 map would be prohibitive and I guess it would be quite challenging to do the conversions from 1 map type to another as I'm sure all the map providers use different ways of storing their information.Yusuf----- Original Message ----- From: "Charles LaPierre" <charles@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, December 02, 2007 4:19 AM Subject: [gps-talkusers] Maps Sendero supportsNothing yet for Mexico either.
