Hi Howard,
Yes there wasn't enough time to get the POIs ahead of you or on a specific side of the street done in time for our release before the summer shows. That feature is on the wish list and was bought back at CSUN as part of the Buy a Feature game we did, so it is very high on the list for a future release. Come on we have to have something cool to add for the next version eh!

What I didn't see is the ability to look at POI on one side of a street. This would be handy, so you could know which businesses you were passing, with out having to get the details of a POI to know. If you are walking, you really don't care much about what is across 4 lanes of traffic.
