Dave, I don't own one either, so I can give you an uninformed, but also unbiased opinion!!! <smile> The sendaro group, the company that makes the gps add-on for the braille note, has had more experience in working with gps for the blind than any of the others. Unlike the visuaide, they allow you to choose your own gps receiver, and to easily switch it when/if new technology is available. Unlike the packmate, they're not Freedom Scientific, so they actually listen to your concerns and communicate with you in meaningful ways. The BN GPS from Sendaro group has changed quite a bit since it's original introduction, and while I don't mean to imply that they're engineers aren't always doing research, a lot of the change was due directly to user input and discussion. I'm sorry I don't know enough about all of them to give you a detailed feature by feature comparison, hopefully that will come from others, but this is sort of an overview.
