Dave,

I don't own one either, so I can give you an uninformed, but also
unbiased opinion!!! <smile>

The sendaro group, the company that makes the gps add-on for the braille
note, has had more experience in working with gps for the blind than any
of the others. Unlike the visuaide, they allow you to choose your own
gps receiver, and to easily switch it when/if new technology is
available. Unlike the packmate, they're not Freedom Scientific, so they
actually listen to your concerns and communicate with you in meaningful
ways. The BN GPS from Sendaro group has changed quite a bit since it's
original introduction, and while I don't mean to imply that they're
engineers aren't always doing research, a lot of the change was due
directly to user input and discussion.

I'm sorry I don't know enough about all of them to give you a detailed
feature by feature comparison, hopefully that will come from others, but
this is sort of an overview.

Hth,

Chip
