[gps-talkusers] Intro and help with pairing and maps

Hello All, 

I've been a Trekker user since 2006 and am part of the Tech training Team at
the Guide Dog Foundation. 

That said, I just bought myself Mobile Geo and am working to get it set up
on my Q9C. I'm currently having two issues I hope folks here can give me
some suggestions on. 

I'm using my old RBT 2010 receiver and am at a loss as to how to pair it up.
It's fully charged, supposedly ready to go but is not being recognized at
all by the phone when trying the initial bluetooth paring. 

Also, I unzipped the maps I will be using and copied them into a separate
"maps" folder on the sd card of the phone. I kept the folder structure from
the initial unzipping of the files. When I try to activate the maps, Geo
says it can't find them on the sd card. I've also entered the activation
code several times to be sure I got that correct. 

Any hints would be hugely appreciated. 

Is there another receiver that most people are using with Geo that would
perform better than the RRTB 2010? I know, that's kind of like which guide
dog school do you think is best, right? <grin>
