First of all, you should read the getting started and readme documents which
came with the gps. This can save you a lot of grief during the install, and
even
more if you plan to use a bluetooth receiver.
To install the gps software, first you have to do a 1 2 3 reset on the braille
keyboard or s d f reset on the qt keyboard. If you fail to do this, you will
get the
file in use message.
And, to clear up one other point, you will not loose data on the MPower by
doing a j k l (4 5 6) reset. You will not loose your address book or your
actual
connectivity settings.
You will likely have to pair again with bluetooth devices and a few minor
things, but you certainly will not loose data.
Again, read the docs before attempting a gps install.

Hi Folks:
When I try to install the GPS software from my Compac Flash card, I receive the
following message:
gpstalkobjs.pll. The process cannot access the file because it is being used
by another process.
It doesn't appear to be already installed as there is no GPS option in the
BrailleNote menu structure.
What do I do from here?
Thanks all over the place gang.
