[gps-talkusers] I'm having a total brain freeze:

Hi guys!
Long time no write but I am having a total brain freeze.
Before I left to close out the Cincinnati apartment for good, I put all of the U. S. maps onto an 8 gb flash card. Ok Now that I am back in Arizona, I would like to have the gps make a route from the Cincinnati residence to here but I can not open the maps on this flash card. 
My problem, I don't remember how I got the maps on my 1 gb card to open.
I have been pointing the gps program to the compact flash card subdirrectory/maps and pressing enter and it will not open the files. I put all 67 maps in one folder as I wanted to make this route going clear across the country. 
I know I am missing a step here but don't know which step.
