Sarai,
It worked for me. Here is the text copied in this email.
Collective User Points of Interest
Sendero provides a monthly compilation of all User POI files sent to
the company. This User POI file will be made available by email
and/or on the Sendero web site for version 3 users. The first of
these files is included with the new POIs. Users are encouraged to
submit their POIs to Sendero to be added to the collective user
database at the beginning of each month.
Some recommendations about naming points and sending files:
The first comma in a POI name separates its name from its details. If
possible, provide the POI name, then a comma, then details like phone
number, cross streets or features about the point. Press the A key
for example before recording the POI to see what street it is on and
add at least the street name and city as part of the details. If you
have a lot of details like the bus numbers at a bus stop, use a
Period to separate items. You can always go to the GPS menu and
select Edit to rename points or to delete strictly personal points
you may not want to include in the file you send to us.
Attach the User.poi file from your POI folder to an email addressed
to <mailto:MikeM@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>MikeM@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Then, move
that file out of your POI folder and rename it. Do not touch the
extension. Just rename the User part of the filename. Once that file
is out of your POI folder, a new file will be automatically started
next time you create a new point. If you don't do this, you will have
duplicate entries once you load the collective User file we send you.
Anyone who sends us a User.POI file will automatically be sent the
collective file. Together, we can enhance location information by
sharing the POI information we create individually.
