If you mean in general yes, you can record a vehicle rout. You can't change any of the maps if that is what you mean. Find where you want to go, set it as a destination and then on a bt keyboard, hit r then v and your set. After you get there, if you want to save it, just hit r then s and name it. Your set. -----Original Message----- From: gps-talkusers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:gps-talkusers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of dan kysor Sent: Saturday, August 27, 2005 12:25 PM To: gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx; gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [gps-talkusers] Re: How to record User POIs with additional information is there anyway to record a route, vehicle or otherwise? i noticed many of the vehicle routes mapped out are not necessarily the best routes or most direct so it would be nice to save over a particular mapped route. dan At 09:58 AM 8/27/05, John wrote: >thanks Charles thats good info >John > >----- Original Message ----- >From: <mailto:lapierre@xxxxxxxxx>Charles La Pierre >To: <mailto:gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >Sent: Saturday, August 27, 2005 10:45 AM >Subject: [gps-talkusers] How to record User POIs with additional >information > >Hello GPSers > >I got a question from one of our users and thought I should share this >with the rest of you incase you didn't know this little bit of information. > >A user.poi can contain what every you want in it, E.g. name of the POI, >the street address / phone number, other important information you don't >want to forget. > >When entering in your user poi data all you have to do is add a comma >after the name you want the poi to be called and then add any additional >information you want (ie. street address phone #, etc.) This information >after the comma will only show up when you do a chord or ctrl P.
