Mike,
I listened to the tutorial from the web site. I've looked in the
Documents and root directory but haven't seen any documentation relating
to the Earthmate. I have the command summaries, manuals for QT and BT, a
read me file and a Congratulations file, a long with the tutorial on
MP3.

It is important to at least read the read.me file and the Earthmate 
getting started documents before trying anything. This will save you 
a lot of frustration and copius emails.

If you are really on good behavior, you will also listen to the audio
tutorial.

Per Don's email, the normal process of installing software involves a 
3 finger reset. This has to be done in a particular way, which is 
covered in the ReadMe under the documents folder on the Compact Flash 
card and in the BrailleNote manual.
