Oh, sorry for that. For some reason I thought I remembered 3.5
taking 1 or less; I must be thinking of another program.
Have a great day,
Alex

Hello Alex
GPS 4.0 takes the same amount of memory as it has always done.
We
have always allocated 2 Megabytes of memory for the Richmap
engine.
You are right, that when you do taskswitch out of GPS I don't
free up
that memory (if I did it would be the same as exiting out and you
would loose your position, your route, the POIs you were looking
at, etc.).
Thanks
Charles.

Hi all,
Just a quick note: GPS v4.0 takes around 2mb of RAM; 3.5 took
much
less. Just keep this in mind when you are using your BN--you
should
probably try closing the GPS program (exiting, not switching out
as
that leaves it open) before resorting to a reset.
Have a great day,
Alex
