It looks like this is US and Canada content. Someone from Sendero could
correct me if I am wrong on this though.
The good thing with the Enhanced POI Content is as long as as a POI has the
same name, it will also work, even if it isn't at the same location. This
is a bad example, kbut an example nevertheless.
If the menu for Denny's was provided, this would mean that this would work
wherever there is a Denny's
These POI content are basically text and wave files associated with POIs.
It would be great if there were instructions provided on My Sendero on how
one would exactly submit POIs with Enhanced Content as it would benefit many
including myself.
Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin,
Is this just US Content? Or is it international content?
Cheers.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] Enhanced POI Content
Hello GPS 4.2 users,
I am not sure how many are aware of the ability to download a zip file
containing enhanced POI content from MySendero, http://MySendero.com
This zip file has been up for over a month, but I just found out about it
right now by snooping around on the Sendero website. The joys and wonders
that curiosity bring.
The paragraph is below:
Enhanced POI Content <http://www.senderogroup.com/poi/POIContent.zip> : This
zip contains additional information for User POIs. You will find audio and
text files of restaurant menus, museum descriptions, trip descriptions, etc.
If you come across a User POI that has enhanced content you will hear a
chime. Last updated, July 16, 2008.
