Hi,
This may be obvious to some, but watch out for what Grade 2 Braille
translation will do while searching for streets, too. I used to live on
Lemay Street in Van Nuys, which shows up in the maps as being in Los
Angeles. While looking for my old address just for kicks and grins, I
entered Los Angeles as the city, gave the street number 15027, then typed
lemay st using the st sign, dots 3 and 4. Apparently the st sign is
interpreted as "still", thus I received the message that the street wasn't
found. Entering "st" in grade 1 solved the problem.

Hi James
when going down the street while tracking if you press C you will be
told the city that the system thinks you are in.
it may not be what you think. for example in Buffalo NY there are
streets in the suburbs that people think are actually in buffalo NY.
once armed with the information for city you can then use that city to
do the address lookup.
you can also set yourself virtually to somewhere in the city and do a
poi search space with f Read with f for the name of the street and you
can then set your virtual position to that poi.
Section 5.2.1 in the manual will give you the information you need
with an example.
Hope this helps.

Hi all,
Some names of streets still can't be found.
For example: I typed my default state, City address, then street. No
matches
were found, and I was asked to type in the street name.
Is there another way of typing this in or is there a setting to tell the
program to look for a newer section of the city?
I'm trying to set a destination for a client's new home, but I can't even
get the cross street. Yet, I did a map quest along with a sighted person
and
found his street with no problems. As I was going down the street, the GPS
was able to find the street with no problems.
Do I need to save this as a POI?
Thanks.
James
