[gps-talkusers] Calculating route over the boundary of two maps

I have the UK version of the gps system in that the map folder has six
sub folders, each sub folder contains one map. South of England, north
of England etc.

Now I live in the north England area but wish to work out a vehicle
route to an address in the area covered by the south map.

It was recommended that I set the map folder to point to the south map.
I find the address and set it as the destination. I then reset the map
folder back to the north of England and either identify my starting
point by GPs or the virtual positioning. I then enter RV to calculate a
route. And PK says 'unable to calculate route'.

Do I actually have to load both maps in to the same sub folder such that
PK loads both relevant maps together?

When I open up the GPs app it says 'loading one map' so I'm not
surprised it can't actually calculate a route as it doesn't have all the
data available to it. But the method described above is the one
suggested when the product was demonstrated.

Advice anyone?
