The new mPower does have standard laptop USB. The PK has the typical
PDA style slave USB, which does not power a device. This is quite
common for PDAs for the sighted as well.
One problem with USB is that it is not universal as the name implies.
One has to have a driver for almost every device.
This is one of the nice benefits of a Bluetooth interface. No drivers
have to be installed. Although it isn't perfect yet, we will see
software improvements. For example, my new Nokia 6682 phone supports
up to 5 Bluetooth devices at once whereas the previous 6600 like most
Bluetooth devices only supported one connection at a time. This bodes
well for use of multiple devices like Bluetooth GPS, headsets and
keyboards all at the same time.

Hello everyone,
I don't know if anyone here knows, but the more I read about the
Braille note I wonder why they have non standard USB ports, and
could there be a software solution? Gerry
