[gps-talkusers] Re: Bluetooth GPS receiver for MPower

Hello,
i use the Earthmate Bluelogger. It works well, but it is tricky to turn on. Sometimes it is on but GPs will not detect it. Where does one get the other receiver?

Hi again

I can endorse what Martin says the Holux receiver works brilliantly. Even from inside a jacket pocket you can usually receive the signal from six satalites. I have found that it does not work too well with my wind/water proof jacket but with an ordinary overcoat or jacket it is fine.

In our car I blutak the receiver to the shelf under the glove compartment and it works well.

Hi

I'm not sure if that works, but if your aftera Star III chipset, the Holux Slim works rather nicely.

Thanks
