[gps-talkusers] Re: Battery Life

There is a desperate need for an external battery pack for the PK and
the blue logger. While the charger for the blue logger is light enough
when you carry both it starts to become a bit untidy. It's not a
particularly difficult bit of electronics but it invalidates the
warranty if you do make up your own pack of cells etc.

To answer your question about taking the charger/AC adapter...

I always take the charger because if your batteries run down for any
reason, you're hosed without it, and it doesn't weigh very much.

Dear Listers
I was wondering what the battery life of the blue logger gps recievers
are approximately. I am going to be out of town this weekend and
debating whether or not to take the charger.
Thanks
Kevin
