[gps-talkusers] Re: Attaching holux to strap

Well, shortening the strap did bring the receiver up closer to my shoulder.
Will see how this works.

Scott,
There should be a loop on the shoulder strap to attach the receiver case.
Some of the older straps did not have the loop, the newer shoulder straps
are available on the Sendero Web site.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] Attaching holux to strap

Hi Group:
Does anyone have any suggestions about secure attachment of the Holux to the
MPower strap? I clipped the holux case to the cross piece of the plastic
shoulder pad of the MPower strap, but this arrangement prevented me from
attaching the short Velcro wings to anything. I feel that particularly over
time, the belt clip could weaken, and it is likely that the receiver could
be lost without some added protection, which I guess was the idea behind the
Velcro wings. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Scott
