I have to say in addition to this last message, that by the end of the trip
my family were extremely impressed with my gps simply because I knew more
about where we were and saw more than they did and when someone wondered
where a particular landmark was, I could say it was near pearl harbor, or
near Laheine harbor or near the Leheina Westin etc.
I didn't actually get to create a route or let's say I did not attempt this
simply because I was traveling with 3 know-it-alls and each one of them had
in their minds, at least the definitive answers to life and I simply wasn't
going to get into that energy. My Sister did all the driving and as my niece
put itmy sister is "dirrectionally challenged." She would tell me to go left
and point to the right and say, "the other left."
I simply ignorred all of them, turned on the gps and just read in Braille
where we were. They told me I had to turn that "god awful voice off."
I think at one point they really wanted me not to use the gps so I told them
I was reading a book when in actuality I was gpsing right along and seeing
all the sights and seeing Hawaii my own way.
