[gps-talkusers] Announcing the release of Mobile Geo

Most if not all the carriers have Windows based phones. The key considerations are price and the configuration of keys. As I said, see what they have on contract and then have a look and feel. As long as the buttons are distinct, most people can get used to the pattern of buttons if they aren't standard numeric.

Sendero is not selling any phones because we can't offer you as good a deal as you can get under a service contract. We personally use the HTC S730 phone which retails for around $600. AT&T has the Pantec Duo under contract I think for around $200 and it is similar to the HTC in configuration. There aren't many of the phones these days which have a standard numeric configuration. They get all crazy with QWERTY keypads but the Duo and HTC have their keyboards slide out.

Head for your local Sprint, AT&T or Horizon outlets and check out their phones under contract.

The NV2 is not compatible with Mobile Geo, however.
Generally, you need a phone running Windows Mobile 5 or 6.
