[gps-talkusers] A web text map.

Greetings All, I'm new to this list; not even sure how I got on.

Please help me find a web site for a blind soul simply looking to just learn
about an area. I would like to enter a location or a pair, and have the
following info produced as text by the web site:

What are the nearby businesses I would be close to if standing there or
walking-by? If I endter a pair of locations, I'd also want to know the
businesses I'd pass en route, which streets I'd be on and how far to each
corner, the name of each cross street, the locations of bus stops and which
busses stop there, perhaps about obstacles, landmarks or other relevant
points. I sent a message to Sinder a week ago with a similar
request/suggestion and got no response. I am not able to get a GPS, and
wouldn't have the need for one, since I'm not doing much work-related
traveling.

Most appreciatively,

Subject: [gps-talkusers] another way finder question

 Hi all,

Like brailleNote gps, can you have it that sounds are played when certain
prompts are also spoken in way finder access? I heard about this and tried
to find this option in the menus but couldn't see it.
