[gps-talkusers] A question about Sense Nav

Hello everyone.

I have on the original SD card, the maps of the USA. Next week I am headed to
Texas but the maps for Texas are in the "western" folder.

Is there something I need to do in order to have these maps recognized? Do I
need to move them somewhere like to the main file on my card?

I sincerely appreciate hearing from you.
Thank you so much in advance.

Cherryl

    Hi, all,
I created a pedestrian route. BTW, I could not find the subway stop I
wanted to set as my starting position in the POIs, although other subway stops
do appear there. The funny thing is that the name of the stop is Aquarium, and
the POI search did turn up a subway stop named Aquarium in New York, a couple
hundered miles away!
Anyhow, I created the route, and tried to read through it, but it did
not tell me which way I would have to turn on the various streets.
If I go to that subway stop, emerge onto the street, and set my
destination without creating a route, will the gps tell me when, where, and
which direction to turn? If it does not announce intervening streets how will I
know when it is time to turn? In other words, if I have to cross 4 streets
before coming to the one I am to turn on, will I know when it is time to turn
so that I don't turn too soon?
    Thanks.
    Alice
