[gps-talkusers] Re: A curious ?

Hello Todd,

You make a good point. The old sport track GPS receivers Sendero and
PulseData sold with version 2.0 uses 2 AA batteries, and to be
environmentally conscious users should consider buying some rechargeable
batteries.

I am sure some of our users have already done this and can tell the group
which batteries are the best and the brand which can be recharged without
having to totally drain them before recharging because of memory issues
with some rechargeable batteries.

The new Earthmate GPS receivers we are currently shipping have a battery
pack which is rechargeable.

Charles.
