Mike, what are the controls like on the receivers? Do they hav toggle
on/off switches? What is the battery life if you don't use the solar
cells? What is the Sattelite acquisition time on both? Oh yah, and what is
the cost for each? Thanks, Jim

Subject: [gps-talkusers] 2 new GPS receivers
Hi all, just wanted to let everyone know about 2 new GPS receivers I got.
They are both made by global top, I can't remember the model number on
one of them, but it's actually solar powered. If the receiver is exposed
to light, it will actually charge the battery using the solar panel.
There is also a USB port for charging. The second receiver is the g66,
this one is about the sizeof a creddit card, and it's the most accurate
receiver yet. It uses the new MTK 66 channel chip set, and according to
Mobile Geo, is accurate within 9 feet, it also works great with Way
Finder access. The solar receiver uses the MTK 51 channel chip set, which
is also very accurate.
