Mouth to Mountain Preparations

Residents of Geelong are being asked to join in on an epic adventure
beginning at the mouth of the Barwon River and finishing at the You Yangs.
The 54 kilometre trek named "Mouth to Mountain" will begin at sunrise at
Barwon Heads and conclude at sunset on the rocky outcrops of the You Yangs.

 

The relay will encompass kayaking, walking, cycling, horse riding and
driving in a bid to deliver the precious resource of water back to the
mountain where its journey originally began.

Weather Puts an End to Relay For Life 

The true spirit of determination shone through as families, friends and some
unusual characters braved the weather conditions to take part in the 10th
annual  Geelong Relay for Life. Around 1900 participants hit the track at
Deakin University, to raise money for the Cancer Council, the weather
proving to much for the devoted teams..

Kinetic Art Show for the UK

Kinetic art, a once fashionable art form, is now reclaiming attention in an
exhibition currently on display in the UK. Featuring carnivorous lampshades,
pole-dancing robots and mesmerising light sculptures over 30 galleries and
150 artists have made a contribution to the visual spectacular exhibition.

Australian Masters Show Ages is No Barrier

Dragon Boat Racing, Swimming, Pistol Shooting, Archery and Beach Volleyball,
just a handful of the events master athletes are taking part in during the
12th Australian Masters Games.  GOTV brings you all the highlights from
