Hi all,

For the record, I too have had troubling with Kill, especially with scanned files. I would delete a rest, marked in red or otherwise, and it simply would just stay there. Sometimes, when I would delete an entire measure as suggested, that would do nothing but make the next measure have the same problem, and I would have to delete from that point on to the end of the piece sometimes to regain the proper number of beats. Again, this only would happen with scanned music. Just FYI. :)

2. Is there a way to use the Kill function to delete extra beats? In the
file I imported, there's a measure with an extra beat in it that I can't
seem to get rid of. I have the "Enable duration edits" checked, but can't
find anything in the Limealoud manual telling me how to use the Kill
function. What'd I miss?

If you have Enable duration edits enabled, try CONTROL+DELETE to "kill"
unwanted annotations. As someone else wrote, sometimes it's just easier to
insert a new measure, reenter the correct version of the measure and then
delete the incorrect version.
