Go to www.peernet.com and look for their utility to convert PDF to tiff.
Once you install, you will find the Peernet driver in your lists of
printers. Just select it as your printer and follow prompts to create
tiff
file.

I'm guessing from the description that the Pyramid driver is a virtual
printer. The idea is that you print to it like you would a physical
printer, but instead of producing hardcopy, it produces graphical images
of each page and saves them to disk. Try a google search for the term
virtual printer. Also, both Openbook and K1000 packages come with a
virtual printer driver like this.
