Hi,

If there's no intro and the first and second verses use the same notes then you
can write the verses and then the chorus and then you only need a double bar
line with backward repeat at the end of the chorus.

If there's an intro and the first and second verses use the same notes then it
will be similar to the above example but you'll also need a double bar line
with a forward repeat at the start of the verses.

If the verses need to written out separately then you should write the first
verse, then the chorus, then the second verse with "D.S. al segno" at the end,
add a segno to the first note of the chorus and put "Fine" at the end of the
chorus.

You might also want to read http://www.dancingdots.com/tsgf3/limebarrepeats.htm
which I wrote because bar lines with repeats can be confusing to braille
readers because not only are forward and backward repeats not related to bar
lines in braille but Lime allows the user to do some things that are not normal
and look bad to sighted users.

Thanks,
Albert

Hi All,

I would like to set my piece of music in the following arrangement. Does anyone
of you know how to set it?

A song with 1st verse, Chorus, 2nd verse, then repeat Chorus. How can I set the
repeatition of Chorus? And what types of barlines should I use between the
paragraphs? Thanks!

Best wishes,
Margaret
