Hi, Albert and Patrick. I'm running Windows XP, and alt-tabbing to the Braille window and back again doesn't help any. I still don't see music in the Lime window, but can arrow through the piece and have the note values announced. It'd still be nice to see music, though. *smile* -----Original Message----- From: goodfeel-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:goodfeel-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of albertm13@xxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, April 07, 2010 1:51 AM To: goodfeel@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [goodfeel] Re: No Music In the Lime Window Hi, If you are running Vista or Windows 7 disabling themes in the compatibility tab of the Properties of Lime should help. I'll look into what I did and get back to you later (I'm not at work right now). There are some other times when you will get that message. You may get this message if Lime is positioned on a rest that isn't shown in braille. For example, if you have two voices on a staff and you are on a voice that is resting for the whole measure, GOODFEEL will not make braille for it; otherwise, you would have some music, an inaccord sign and then a rest. I simply press ALT-TAB to switch to the Braille window and then again to switch back to the Lime window and all is fine. The music then appears on the Braille display, and Lime is working fine. I think this is a problem related to Windows Vista and Lime not being fully compliant with Windows Vista,. It could also be related to the same problem with the driver for the Braille display, which is also not Windows Vista compliant. I upgraded to the new Lime beta (Thanks, Bill *smile*) and am using JFW10. if I've got a piece open, music Braille comes up in the Braille window, but in Lime's window I get a message that says "no music to display". I'm not sure what to do, and fussing with the window size doesn't seem to do anything. Has anyone had this problem?
