I have had similar problems on Windows XP machines, both with the latest version of GOODFEEL and 3.0 before it. I work with up to three machines. All started out with the same problem--when creating a new file, the notes would be spoken and played, but the braille continued to say "no music to display." On one machine with that problem, I got braille when I opened one of the files in the examples folder, but continued not to get braille on any new file I created. In another case, opening a sample file fixed the problem with everything. In the third instance, the music did not display, even with the sample file. I ended up reinstalling the software on that machine and it worked properly. I hope you can set up a tandem session to determine how to fix instances like that without having to a reinstall. From my experience, unless the odds were stacked in my favor, it would seem this problem would be happening fairly often. Maybe I should have tried playing the lottery that day. Try moving to a different bar in the piece. There is a bug that sometimes incorrectly displays that "no music to display" message when there is actually a gathered rest at the start of the piece. Try opening one of the files in the GOODFEEL Examples folder to see if that displays braille for you. What happens when you press INSERT+Q with Lime running? Does it report that you are running Lime 9.05 with Lime Aloud? I'm using GF3.2 and the version of Lime that comes with it. I checked both the speech and braille boxes in the accessibility options for Lime. When I open up a .lim file, music Braille comes up in the Braille window, but in Lime's window I get a message that says "no music to display". I've had this problem before, and someone suggested refreshing the scripts with Ctrl+Ins+Esc. I tried that this time, and still se no change in the Lime window. How do I troubleshoot this?
