A breve should be dots 134, then 13. MK in literary Braille.
I have found Goodfeel transcribing breve in that way: MK, but not in
these pieces.

I have spent some time researching your reported bugs. Read on for
suggested work-arounds.
O Magnum Mysterium
This piece has exposed a bug in GoodFeel that mishandles transcription of a
whole-note rest that follows a whole measure rest in 4/2 time. Until we can
fix this problem, here is a work-around.
Move to the beginning of the bar that begins with the whole-note (semibreve)
rest followed by the half (minim) rest. In this case, bar 55.
Press CONTROL+N to enter note entry mode in Lime.
Type the number 1 until Lime is ready to accept a dotted whole/semibreve.
Type the letter r to enter a dotted whole/semibreve rest.
This solution works because the whole rest is followed by a half rest. If
the whole rest were followed by a note instead of a rest, you can change the
whole rest to two half rests.
Launch GoodFeel and the braille music will now be transcribed correctly.
You may want to change the braille to show that measure as beginning with
dots 1-3-4, dots 1-3-6 instead of dots 1-3-4, dot 3. As you may know, you
will want to use Notepad, Duxbury or other programs to revise GoodFeel's .gf
files. Our BrailleView has a habit of saving changes along with converting
form feed characters into a line of text with the words "form feed."
I don't see problems in the other two places you listed in your message.
Note that bar 99 has a note with a duration of a breve or double whole-note.
GoodFeel transcribed it correctly showing a whole-note followed by dots
1-3. Not something you see every day.
Bar 146 has 4 minims that total 4 beats in 4/2 time. Bar 147 has a mix of
minims and crotchets that add up to 4 beats.
Brahms' Geistliche Lied
Just as in bar 55 of the piece above, move to downbeat of bar 8 and combine
the two rests into a single dotted semibreve. Same for bar 22.
You could do the same at bar 41 but you would first have to move the dynamic
mark of piano to the note following the minim rest. Or you could change the
semibreve rest to two minim rests.
I think the work-arounds noted above should apply to the remaining problem
spots found in the Brahms. Let me know if I have missed something.
To produce grade 1 German:
Close Lime and run GoodFeel
Choose Transcription Options from the Options menu.
Press SHIFT+TAB 7 times until you reach the browse button for literary
file.
Press space bar.
Press SHIFT+TAB once or twice until you reach the Items View list.
Select Deutsch.ini from the list and press ENTER.
Press the TAB key twice to move to the Extended ASCII File browse button.
Press space bar to activate.
Press SHIFT+TAB once or twice until you reach the Items View list.
Select euro.ini from the list and press ENTER.
Press TAB key until you reach the Save as Defaults button and press space to
save these settings.
Note that after you produce the song in German, you will probably want to
change your setting for literary file back to NorthAmerican or UK, and your
Extended ASCII setting back to "dot4". Any time you change settings in the
Transcription Options, remember to choose Save as Defaults to exit the
dialog. Otherwise, settings will only apply until you close GoodFeel. That
is, the next time you run GoodFeel, it will revert to your former settings
unless you choose that Save as Defaults button.

Hello all,
Hope you had a restful Christmas and New year break. Also happy World
Braille day.
I'm hoping someone can help me fix this problem: I am singing a couple of
pieces in 4/2 time signature. The problem I have is when there are multiple
bar rests (the same symbol as semibreve rests), Lime/Goodfeel puts incorrect
amount of bar rests or beat rest. As you all know, spacing is crucial in
this situation to put the Braille symbol in context.
I've attached XML and GF files for examples. In O Magnum Mysterium, the
rests in Bars 55 and 56 should read: bar rest, semibreve rest, minim rest
and fourth octave f minim. What I got in the convertion is two bars rest,
then minim rest and fourth oc F minim. In the first instance, the beat
counts is 9 beats altogether. In fact, there are only 7 beats of rest. The
same thing occurs in bars 100 and 101 as well as 146 and 147.
The second piece I'm having trouble with is Brahms Geistliche Lied, soprano
part. In this instance, there are multiple bars rest between the verses
(just after the thin double barlines). In the first occasion, there are 3
consecutive semibreve rests followed by minim rest. In actual fact, there
are 2 bars rest, then semibreve rest followed by a minim rest, dynamic
marking and note. The next time it happens at the end of the second verse,
the music reads 1 bar rests, 4 bars rest, minim rest, Dynamic piano marking
and fourth oc G minim.
I've counted the rests on the recording of this piece and it adds up to 4
bars rest, semibreve rest, minim rest, dynamic piano marking and fourth oc G
minim.
Is there any way I can fix this problem from Goodfeel transcription options?
Also if someone could let me know how to change the output Braille lyrics in
accented Grade 1 German Braille that would be much apreciated.
