Accelerometer-based Gestures, and Screen Orientation

Hi,

My task for GSoC 2008 was to create a motion recognition library that will
recognize accelerometer-based gestures that you would make with your phone
(Openmoko Neo Freerunner). I have to admit I've been doing gesture
recognition for a while now, I did my Bachelor's Thesis on motion
recognition with a 3D accelerometer. I really like it!

Anyway, here's a video of the project running on the Neo Freerunner:

Enjoy, and for more information, visit: http://gestures.borza.ro

Comments are greatly appreciated, and thanks to Openmoko Inc. and Google for
supporting this wonderful project of mine.
Also, thanks to my mentor - Daniel Willmann, for helping me out with any
problems I have encountered on the way!

Thanks,
Paul-Valentin Borza
