ARPA (Audio Related Plugin Architecture, and I know it conflicts with ARPA-net

They all sound a bit terrible I suppose. I think, but maybe that's because 
we're not used to any of them. To be honest, GMPI sounded worse to me when it 
was first proposed, but it has grown on me.
