[gmpi] Re: moving forward

Tim, does this code implement any musical plugin functionality yet, or
is it still just at the point of module loading and query?

We had a flurry of activity and then silence.

We have some code that doesn't do much except explore some ideas.  It
could sure benefit from examination, nit-picking, and opinions.

I want to make some progress.  Unless I hear a *really* good reason not
to
make this prototype code available, I'm going to post the whole thing
and
let you guys tear it to pieces.
