[gmpi] Re: lost-n-found #3 parameter stuff

... VST's string2parameter, I'm not sure no
one uses it. I just asked on the VST mailing list (both plugin devs and host
devs) and will let you know what comes back...

SynthEdit-built VSTs don't support it. There are hundreds of SE built plugins, used in every available host. No one has complained. Therefore no one uses it.

On the other hand, I don't have any objection to supporting it.
