So I said this a couple weeks ago, then did not listen to myself.

My latest CVS edit is here:

However, I want to make a few changes.  I think we've gotten too technical
on these reqs.  We (myself as a prime offender) need to not do that.

So look over the doc, then read my revision suggestions below.  i want to
close this topic soon, PLEASE :)

A couple revision suggestions, since real details are not for us to decide.

R22 is ok
R23 is ok
R24:
        "Event timestamps must be measured in sample frames."
    More on this requirement:
        "Based on GMPI working group discussion, the preferred timestamp
        semantic is a sample frame offset from the start of the time slice."
        
R25:
        "GMPI must support ramped or smoothed events.  Ramping or smoothing
        must be supported on at least real number typed controls."
    More on this requirement:
        ..include some of the meat we've been discussing...
R26: is ok
