Actually VST is know to not work in may cases, which is why were here ;)

We dont know if its future proof, but trying to second guess what is, is a
bad path to go down. Its certianly simple and that is an end in itsself.
Bear in mind that any base level complexity will add CPU cost to all
plugins that want to use it.

I think I've manged to show that the cases where it is (marginally) less
efficient are rare corner cases, and infcat noone has managed to come up
with a real world exqample where soe other scheme would be better.
