No, I had realised it was just an example, but I just felt that a
change in language would be a good idea - basically to avoid the
potential for confusion, such there's been over the years in the
VST spec.
I'd suggest "Rate" and "Depth" as replacement example parameter
names - for example some chorus effects have these linked, and
they are very generic names (though I don't have a problem with
Left and Right either).
